When the music hits me, I feel no pain at all...

I was online in Multiply a while ago, Suddenly Multiply performed a site maintenance for just a couple of minutes and voila! They removed the 'Download' link for the music posts, but you can still listen to the mp3 files if you choose to play the playlist. Maybe it's the end of mp3 file-sharing in Multiply (sigh)...NOT!

HERE'S MY NEW AND IMPROVED METHOD!!=)

For this to work, you just need to install a downloader( I recommend Orbit Downloader, here it is: http://dl.orbitdownloader.com/dl/OrbitDownloaderSetup.exe, it's free, no adware and it's easy to use)

  • Save it as (PlaylistName).OLT

  • Run OrbitDownloader, click File, then Import List of Download.

  • Open the file of the playlist that you saved.

  • You can remove the check of any song that you don't want to download.Click OK to start downloading! Yeah! Cheers! =)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HERE'S WHAT I'VE POSTED BEFORE, FYI ONLY, KINDLY DISREGARD...=)

For this to work, you will need to install a player that shows the properties of each song in the streamed playlist (like Windows Media Player) and a downloader( I recommend Orbit Downloader, here it is: http://dl.orbitdownloader.com/dl/OrbitDownloaderSetup.exe, it's free and it's easy to use)

  1. Click on Play this playlist to ,er..  play the playlist. Duh.
  2. As it plays in Windows Media player, click on the + sign of the playlist name to show all the songs in the playlist (if ti is not already shown).
  3. Right-click on a song that you want and click Properties.
  4. On the file tab, copy the link in the Location thingie. Drag your mouse down to be sure that you've highlighted the link completely. It will look like this: http://images.dorkyskapunk.multiply.com/song/1/1122/full/U2FsdGVkX18S0z7uX7J.4MtwNPsthwjSC0tohfjL6DAxf7SDKEHeQqKNZ7FegLIW/01%20Ato-Ichinen.mp3?encid=U2FsdGVkX18S0z7uX7J.4MtwNPsthwjStvI.E-wGWJM=&nmid=72738917
  5. Run OrbitDownloader and paste the link in "Enter New URL to Download" then start downloading! Yeah!

thanks bro..but one more thing..you can do this with Internet Download Manager..then do the following..
1) download the .m3u file(the Play this playlist thing)..
2) go to IDM's "IMPORT FROM A TEXT FILE"(in the TASK Menu).
3) select "All Files(*.*)" in the Type of file.
4) open the m3u file you downloaded from multiply.

thats all.your files are ready to download..

If they get rid of "Play this Playlist", they'll get rid of a zillion Mulitply users . . . and that translates into lost money for Multiply!

Go get a stream recorder freeware like

The hitch with this method is that you have to record in real-time, but it works.
